The review of the ICRC’s training programs of the Economic Security Unit focused mainly on revising the overall training strategy, suggesting improvements to the existing practices, assessing the adequacy of the technical training modules and recommending key target audiences. This comprehensive review relied on qualitative and quantitative research methods and included visits to ICRC delegations abroad. It very well represents what evidensis stands for as it’s recommendations were based on thoroughly collected data and an in-depth analysis whereby the triangulation of the key findings allowed the team of independent reviewers to provide a set of carefully considered recommendations for the organization to take on.

Evidensis supports the concept of online teaching because we are convinced that it is a fascinating tool to allow adults to continue their education throughout their life, whilst working and caring for their families. As such, at evidensis we believe that online teaching promotes equality, self-determination and respect amongst populations and across cultures. We engage in teaching epidemiology, qualitative research methods and international disaster management to students enrolled in the online Master of Public Health. It is with great pleasure that we train professionals with diverse backgrounds, all sharing this common goal, which is to improve people’s well-being.
Teaching medical students biomedical ethics allows us to discuss dilemmas and suggest best practices to future healthcare professionals. Likewise we also provide advice to other institutions when confronted with dilemmas and assess with our clients how to solve their ethical quandaries.
